2018 Roussanne, Stolpman Vineyard
BALLARD CANYON AVA | SANTA BARBARA COUNTY
The 2018 Roussanne shows aromatics of jasmine, pear and melon. Richly textured on the palate, flavors include honeysuckle, white peach and lemon curd. Finishes long, clean, with a flinty minerality. This full-bodied white is balanced with integrated acidity. Our Roussanne has a history of aging gracefully and should develop more honey and nutty characteristics over time.

2017 Roussanne, Stolpman Vineyard
Similarly colored and aged 10 months in 17% new oak, the 2017 Roussanne Stolpman Vineyard offers a richer, more opulent style. White currants, lemon butter, honeysuckle, and toasted bread notes all emerge from this rounded, beautifully textured, layered white. It has plenty of richness yet stays fresh and lively. It's another beautiful white from this estate. Maturity 2019-2024. — Jeb Dunnuck
2016 Roussanne, Stolpman Vineyard
A strong shade of yellow in the glass, this bottling shows aromas of whipped cream, preserved lemon peels and a hint of smoked white meat, all honed in by a citrusy sharpness. The palate proves fresh, bright and tense, making the mouth water with a hint of sea salt along with creamy cherimoya and a touch more smoke.
2015 Roussanne, Stolpman Vineyard
This is as well-balanced an interpretation of Roussanne as they come in California—proudly plump but not flabby. Light gold in color, it offers caramelized banana, custard, beeswax and apple blossom aromas. A backbone of lemony acidity runs through the palate, buttressed with ripe melon, mango and more tropical fruit flavors.
