2016 Grenache, Santa Barbara County
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY
The 2016 Grenache carries on our tradition of producing focused, intriguing Grenaches that taste great upon release, but also evolve with age. Ruby red in color and medium weight. Aromatics of raspberry, cherry-cola, bramble, plum and dried flowers. Partial stem inclusion through the fermentation provides texture and spice. Aged in used barrels for 10 months, this wine highlights the purity of the Grenache grape, and is a great companion with a wide range of foods.

2015 Grenache, Santa Barbara County
The nose on this countywide blend is extremely elegant and lovely, with light rose petals, pressed black plums and crushed violets. There's a tremendously grippy texture to the sip, providing a pure tension that delivers flavors of purple fruit and rosewater. It's a testament to the versatility of the variety.
A delicious, appellation-level wine, the 2015 Grenache (Santa Barbara County) is bright, floral and perfumed, with quite a bit of aromatic lift from the 50% whole clusters. This is an especially weightless, gracious wine for the vintage. The understated, silky finish only adds to its considerable appeal.
