Jaffurs Wine Cellars

1996 Thompson Vineyard Syrah

The 2009 Mistress Pinot Noir is sourced from the biodynaical and organicly farmed Presidio Vineyard. Produced as a side project by David Yates. Here at Jaffurs we are "married" to the Rhone varietals, hence the Mistress name for this burgundy varietal wine. Produced and farmed with the same gentle, exacting methods as our Syrahs. It is clean and refrained, with flavors of tea and flower petals. It is a nod to our friends in Burgundy above the Rhone Valley in France.
